DVD Playback
I use Intervideo's WinDVD on both laptop and PC. No problems on laptop, but on PC the playback is slightly jerky. Is it just because it's on old machine or can I do anything to make it run smoothly ?
Running Windows ME on P3 450MHz, 192MB RAM, ATI RAGE PRO 8MB 1024x768 16 Bit, MAT****A DVD-ROM SR-8583 DVD-ROM (32X). No other problems I'm aware of.

you can do what you want...it is your system. There is no way in getting a similar result on your machine as you will have on the standalone DVD player.
Some issues which may help...resize the screen to 640x480, original TV size is even smaller...shut down all and everything while watching the DVD...also firewall and AntiVirus (make sure you are not connected to the web) to ensure that full CPU power is available....
