MS dotnet updates AGAIN!
The curse I had with XP has now struck Win7. Repeated installs of dotnet updates, each one showing as 'successfully installed' previously. I have just been through the time-wasting rigmarole of uninstalling and reinstalling framework4 and I see I am far from alone.
Why can MS not get this right?

Dot-Net Hell has replaced DLL Hell as the curse of Windows users. I have an old XP machine that eventually reached the point where every Dot-Net upgrade would fail and even uninstalling everything and starting from scratch wouldn't fix it.
