can't open a page
Hello,
I would appreciate if someone can help me with this issue. the problem is, i cant open a specific page.
My company has a website where people make bookings online. we, ourselves can make bookings on behalf of them as administrators. the issue occurs when we try to book and take payment online (sage pay), our website redirects to the sagepay page where we can charge people but i dont know why its not going to that page.
I have tried solving this issue on my own but failed..
already tried many different preferred dns servers but no luck.
I would be really greatful if anyone can help me in this regard.
(I have recently changed two systems and both of them are having the same issue. one is mac and the other is windows pc. older pcs were working fine.)
thanks

You sure you wanted to post this question in "this" forum?
And if: be a bit more specific.
Type of browser
Type of website https or http
Type of redirect https or http
Type of internet connection wifi or cable
Does it go throug a proxy
Have you ever tried from an other location.
Do you know folks where it works? Log in there with your credentials and test.
And a bunch of other questions come to my mind - there is a reason for my nick being error_401

You need to get your sysadmins on this, not try to do it yourself
However a few guesses as what may have happened
1) in the Internet Explorer Advanced settings, "do not save encrypted pages to disk" has been ticked
2) a security change has blocked javascript
3) a security change has blocked cross-domain posting
A security update could have caused this, someone changing a system policy, new software...... the list goes on
But the fact its happened to more than one machine shows its a system failure and you really need to get a professional to look at it. If you start messing yourself you could end unable disabling your AV software, or punching holes in the firewall
Or have you considered that Sage's systems may have gone tits-up? They had server problems a few days ago. CALL THEM
