KIDS!!!!! and brand new cat 1 hour old 6 Ethernet cable, 15m, just ran it in and was pleasantly surprised at the lack of pixillation on cartoon network when 6 yr old decides to help out by closing the door on the test installation cable. Up to this point Cartoon Network had run faultlessly from router BUT NO MORE!
Grrrrrrrr, not helped by " I couldn't get the door shut so I pushed harder than ever".......

Some neat surgery and it'll be right as rain.
Technically better to replace the entire length of copper cable (and costs peanuts anyway for a length of cable and a couple of RJ45s)
