KIDS!!!!! and brand new cat 1 hour old 6 Ethernet cable, 15m, just ran it in and was pleasantly surprised at the lack of pixillation on cartoon network when 6 yr old decides to help out by closing the door on the test installation cable. Up to this point Cartoon Network had run faultlessly from router BUT NO MORE!

Grrrrrrrr, not helped by " I couldn't get the door shut so I pushed harder than ever".......:mad:

It's the kid thing you've got to get right. Door won't shut, question why. Baby's fingers come to mind.:{

Just that your luck that you don't have house rabbits as pets.....bloody things chew everything including power cables

One does not perform surgery on network cables (save for fusion splicing on fibre).

Technically better to replace the entire length of copper cable (and costs peanuts anyway for a length of cable and a couple of RJ45s)
