You could get Numbers which will run excel files, or any other Office App for the ipad. No ipad experience but I use Office Plus on an iphone.

I downloaded the Boeing Demo then emailed it to the IPAD, it opened in the Safari browser as a disjointed page. It gave me the option of opening it in Quick Office, but this was even worse, it showed the outline of the boxes but not the data.

I suggest you do more research/testing before purchasing an IPAD primarily for this purpose.

Another thing to watch out for: a look at that CBT description leads me to suspect it uses Macros. My experience of Macros is that they don't work successfully on anything but the Excel version on which they were created. I could be wrong, but unless the manufacturer can clear this up, I wouldn't expect much.
