Question RSS Feeds

Greetings !

I am sure many of use rely on RSS for our daily dose of nirvana.

But when I subscribed to the PPRuNe RSS feeds, It sends only New Threads, rather than New Posts. So to follow up on an interesting thread, I have to visit the website every time. And this defies the purpose of using RSS.

Any one know the trick of getting the 'New Post' feeds along with the New thread feeds ?

Is it PPRuNe that does not supply those feeds, or is it me who is doing something wrong somewhere.

Any help appreciated.
Thanks.

I'd really like to be able to point you in the right direction but I can't even find the New Threads feed yet!

Thanks for writing Midge.

There is no XML link on this website to subscribe for the RSS feeds.
But i use Firefox 3.6, and in the address bar, towards the right corner, there exists the orange "subscribe to this page" icon.

Clicking on it gives you the choice of software / utility to view feeds.

To take this particular thread as example, Yesterday when I made this thread, I got the feed. But I do not have a feed for your post. And I will not have one for this post of mine either.

Oh yeah, I see that - I use firefox too. I've always used iGoogle for my feeds because I don't use very many. The rew I want to see sit nicely on my homepage.

I've tried everything I can to get the new posts feed for a specific thread and just can't. It looks like pprune just don't supply the feed. You may just have to stick with email notifications for the time being.
