Windows Mail/Live Mail question

Hi all. I have tried to copy my messages from a Vista Laptop to my new Windows 7 Laptop. Have exported the messages file to my desktop via a memory stick but I can't import the file now to the poxy Windows Live Mail program.

The file is a "Winmail.fol" file so can anyone help me get the messages on to my new laptop please? (or find a way of reading them)

As far as I know, winmail.fol is just a folder file, it does not contain your email messages (should be in .eml files).

If you look, you'll probably find that winmail.fol is just 1 KB.
