Getting scanned photos onto pprune

I'm sure someone will be able to give me a decent answer here.

Hands up....... I'm not all that with computers and having found some old photos in the loft which I think will be of interest to some, I need some advice on how to get them attached on pprune.

I've now got them scanned and saved onto my laptop, but haven't got a clue from here.

Anyone give me a point in the right direction please.

If you're on Windows, I can recommend Google's Picasa software and library service. The software is good for archiving pics and doing basic tweaking (colours etc.), and you can upload to the library account directly from the program. From the library website, you can generate image-only URLs for embedding at different sizes e.g. this is just 144 pixels wide:

srobarts and bnt

Thanks for the advice. Both seem to work ok, but I think I need a new scanner as the quality of pictures isn't that good.

Thanks again
