Can't email meself
Recently swopped to Virgin Broadband cable from Tiscali and BT line.
Occasionally I like to test all is well with my Outlook email by emailing myself (also helps with checking the format of emails I send to others).
Now, if I use the test account settings option in Outlook then I get an email saying all is well, but if I email myself then it don't appear.
I have emailed myself from my work web email and I receive them ok and so I presume other people's emails are getting through but then again I receive very few emails anyway.
Any ideas on the not able to email myself thing?
Regards
Cron.

Cron,
I am on Bt (btyahoo) . If I mail myself it gets picked up by yahoo as junk mail and is not forwarded to my Outlook pop account.
There are ways round it on the yahoo mail web mail site so there is a solution for me.
I suspect that either Virgin is filtering the you/you mail or indeed that Outlook is doing it. Can you access you mail through the virgin site?
