WIndows 98 ME closing down

Post WIndows 98 ME closing down

When I close with win me at night it fails with blue sceen every time, can you help please?

Im assuming that your talking about win ME here and not 98?, as the title of the post now has me thinking do you mean win 98 SE ?
Let me know if its 98SE and Ill try and help with that.

The trouble shooter is for win ME.

What applications are still in the system at this time? Eg Norton.

If it is W98 go to the microsoft knowledge base and you will find an update/patch/bug fix for 98 shutdown problems. Install it and all should be fine.
