I've had the same problem, rang my ISP and got the url of their mailroom, had a look at it and then deleted it.
Your ISP might do it for you but its easier and quicker to do it yourself.

Spanglish, this is similar to henry's solution. go to:
<a href="http://www.mail2web.com" target="_blank">http://www.mail2web.com</a> and enter your details, you will then be able to both read and delete this offending big email without having to download it.

Hi there,
In addition to what's been said already you could do a search for and download a little programme called "Lydia". That allows you to preview your inbox and delete junk and large mail, server-side.

it does not get through because you have a firewall i assume.. .easy to go around this.. .in outlook, click on TOOLS than on ACCOUNTS and highlight the account you have the trouble with.. .click on the PROPERTY tab and now on the ADVANCED tab.. .In the middle you see SERVER TIMEOUT put this to 4:30 minutes and try the transmission again.. .this should do the job.
