Post Internet Explorer does not disconnect

Ever since I installed the Windows ME upgrade software from Windows 98 I do not get the pop-up message asking if i would like to stay connected or disconnect. Even if I shut down IE id does not disconnect.

Anyone got a fix?

In IE select Tools > Internet Options > Connections.. .Highlight your dial-up ISP in the Dial-up Settings list and click the Settings button.

For IE5 and below. .In the Settings dialog, click the Advanced button.. .Here, you should see settings that determine when to disconnect your account, including an option to "Disconnect when connection may no longer be needed." Select this option and close the open dialog boxes.

For IE6, Settings>DialupSettings>Properties>Dialing. .Select the check box next to "Disconnect when connection may no longer be needed."

Open and close IE to make sure the automatic disconnect works as expected.
