Why not forget about IE5 and go to IE6 ?
It is only a short download from here. .<a href="http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/downloads/ie6/default.asp" target="_blank">http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/downloads/ie6/default.asp</a>

There is a repair option.
If you go into Start; Settings; Control Panel; Add/Remove Programs.
Highlight IE and select remove. (Don't worry, it won't).
This will open up another screen which will give you three options, one of which is repair.
Select repair OK, and let it do its thing!
You may need your Windows or computer manufacturers recovery disk for the repair to complete. It just depends on what is wrong!
