Hard drive from damaged laptop

Ive managed to get my hard drive (damaged macbook) back from the insurance company.

My question is: what the bloody hell do I do now?
Is there any way I can use is it as an external hard drive?

thanks for your help chaps

You can fit the drive into an external enclosure, such as the Akasa AK-ENP2NES.
These allow a 2.5" drive, either IDE or SATS to be used as a USB or E-SATA drive.
I've just done this with a laptop drive, the unit cost about £14, and comes with all leads, screws etc..

I got my 'caddy' from ebay for 99p!!! £2 postage.

Works a treat and I now use the HD as a backup thing for my photographs. (also have them backed up on dvd's)
