MultiSim

Hey All

Not sure if anyone here would know how to do this, but i think there is as good chance as asking any other place.

I need to simulate a diode circuit in MultiSim or any sim package that has a 100OHM resistor in the circuit. I need to set an input voltage and then see the current after the diode.

I am trying to reproduce a diode curve in a simulation environment and so far have just got linier results rather than a nice curve.

Any help?

Could post an image of what i am trying to achieve if any help?

My electronics is a bit rusty, but the Wikipedia article shows the graph I remember. For a fixed DC input voltage I think there would appear to be a fixed output DC current within a low voltage range (below breakover). If you mean you're putting in an AC voltage and getting a DC current, then I'd say there's something wrong with the sim setup. Is it forward or reverse biased?
