My electronics is a bit rusty, but the Wikipedia
article shows the graph I remember. For a fixed DC input voltage I think there would appear to be a fixed output DC current within a low voltage range (below breakover). If you mean you're putting in an AC voltage and getting a DC current, then I'd say there's something wrong with the sim setup. Is it forward or reverse biased?
