Missing Attachments in Outlook

I have been sending photos attached as Jpeg files successfully for a long time.
Over the past few days I have had two reports that the files were not attached to the email when it was received.
My software is XP Pro SP2 with all updates and I am using Outlook. I know that one of the recepiants uses Outlook Express.
Any thoughts appreciated.

Sent items box

First place to check is the sent items folder in outlook. Are the mail items correct in there?

You referred to them as 'attachments'? That is what I was referring to. Next button up on IE6.

Thanks BOAC for your input, however I am still a bit confused as to where you are indicating the change of settings. I assumed we were looking at Outlook Express but in your last you make referance to IE6.
