Installing Adobe 8.0
I have been running Adobe 7.0.8 and have been unsuccessfully trying to install Adobe 8.0 and only receive an error message 1714. Do any of you whizzes have a solution ?

"1714" is reported by the Windows Installer utility, and typically means the install/uninstall info for a program is borked. It's not specific to Adobe. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301 shows you how to use the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility which may or may not help you. You may want to check with the Adobe forums to see if you can get any deeper information.
