Computer Spares In France

My friend who is now living in France has a problem, which I think requires a new powersupply.
Having only been there for a few months he has no Idea where to go for same.
He lives near Lavall, in Mayenne.
If anyone can give me the phone number of a outlet there I/we would me most grateful. ( do they have a PCWorld for instance?)
Because the pc is dead he cannot even do a google search himself.

If your friend orders direct from a company like www.MicroDirect.com, or similar, pays by credit card and enters there address it will be sent out to them, had a guy order two ASUS screens from them last month out of Lisbon, Portugal, delivered TNT three days later, very satisfactory service.

Surcouf on Avenue Montgallet (Paris 12ieme) are excellent... used them myself before... several locations in france but have hotline as well.

http://www.surcouf.com/Institutionnel/Magasins.aspx

FNAC do a good range of stuff and will be in most phone directories www.fnac.fr

Dr Ordinateur on 0800942947 (numero vert) seem to have a national resau also.

Bonne Chance

Well, thanks for all the links, suitable 'phone numbers have been relayed to my friend. I think he is need of a new power supply, but were I to buy one here, then forward it the postal costs would probably be higher than the PSU cost...

soorry to be late to the party
try dabs.fr
rueduecommerce.com Very big site, I used it when building may last PC
directcd
There are lots of PC City (PC World) opening up in the big shopping areas
there are 2 Dixons type places that have an ok range, Boulonger and Darty or try the very large Carrefour hypermarket. If he is strugeling with the language French geeks know all the English names and in all seriouness tell him to ask for le/un PSU
Also tell him to brouse the PC mags for the web addresses, there are more than I have given.
There is an area in Paris where over 3 or 4 long streets its nothing but computer shops, cant remember but someone else may, its like a red light district for geeks
Just dont expect next day delivery

FIMbar... it's the section of Avenue Daumesnil that leads up from Gare De Lyon as far as Jardin de Reuilly. That and the couple streets to the north of it. Most are small Chinese owned shops but there are a couple of larger ones there like Surcouf
