Compaq Armada 110 - Dead Battery
I have a Compaq Armada purchased in September 2001. Because I didn't use it for a long time the battery went dead. I've been told that it is not worth purchasing a new battery because they are so expensive.
Do I have any other options, (apart from plugging it into the mains every time I use it)? Does anyone know where I could purchase a battery andhow expensive it would be.

Hi Maddie,
Do a Search on eBay for Armada 110 and you'll find defunct laptops with batteries being sold for spares - might be worth a punt for around £20. Beware battery sellers in Taiwan and Hong Kong though.
