Unhappy Any assistance gratefully received. XP/LEXMARK

Can anyone offer any suggestions.

Over the last few days we have had problems with our internet broadband connection which I have now fixed by reinstalling BT Broadband.

I now have a problem with

my lexmark P915 Photoprinter which accepts a command to print but then automatically deletes without printing. I also get an erro message on start up IMFAX32.DLL not found.Fax facility has been uninstalled.

I also prior to the internet reinstall tried a system restore this took an age, once I had reinstalled b/band i tried to undo restore, I now receive a message that says undo restore incomplete. I tried to restore to another date and I am unable to do this also.

Help

From Lexmark:
Cannot Print from the PC ID ENUS21570
If you cannot print from the PC, please perform the steps below to troubleshoot the issue quickly.
1. Quickly verify that your Lexmark All-In-One or printer is not malfunctioning:
- Are there blinking LEDs?
- Is anything besides the normal readout visible on the LCD display?
- Can you make a standalone copy?
2. Open WordPad and type a few characters. Then choose Print from the File menu (do NOT click on the print icon in the toolbar). The following dialog appears:
This dialog provides the following information about the status of the printer and its settings:
* The Select Printer area contains the names of all the printers in the Printers folder.
* The name of the printer that is set as the default. (In Windows XP or 2000, you can select another printer, right-click on it, and set it as the new default.)
* If you have more that one print object for the printer (such as X8350 copy 1, copy 3, ...), these will also be shown.
* The printer status: offline, paused, etc.
You can also right-click on the printer and select Open to see if there are any print jobs in the queue that need to be purged.

No Joy? Try uninstalling, then reinstalling the software using the either the original CD or an updated driver from support.lexmark.com. Don't forget to pull out the USB thingie before you uninstall and wait for the software to request it plugged in upon reinstallation. Oh, and a reboot between the two would be a good idea if not requested.

Good Luck!

To uninstall the printer driver from your PC:
1. Close all programs that are running.
2. Go to Start, Programs (Windows XP: Start, All Programs), Lexmark P910 Series, Uninstall Lexmark P910 Series. The following message will appear: This will uninstall the Lexmark P910 Series from your system. Do you wish to continue?
3. Click Yes. The uninstallation process will begin.
4. When the uninstallation is complete, click Yes to a message prompting you to restart the PC. The driver has now been uninstalled.
To uninstall the driver via the menus on the installation CD:
1. Insert the installation CD.
* If the CD does not autorun, open My Computer and run the CD from there by double-clicking the CD icon.
2. When the Install Software screen opens, click View License agreement, weblinks, and other useful tools.
3. Next, click Uninstall Printer Software. The uninstallation process should begin.
4. When the uninstallation is complete, restart the PC to make sure the driver has been removed.
