Dvd Disk

Hi
I have recently got a Digi Camcorder. I can put stuff onto either DVD+RW or DVD-RW and whilst it will olay back on my computer it WILL NOT play on my DVD player. All I get is a screen with ROOT a Poot Menu on it.
Could anyone suggest (beside getting stuffed) ?? what I can do to rectify this as my wife would REALY LIKE to see these on the TV .
Thank's for any help
All the Best

Hi, I suspect its the Format that your Camera records in, It will more than likely need to be converted to a DVD format that your DVD player will recognise. It will play fine on your PC, however I had a similar problem and ended up using some software I downloaded to convert the format and it worked a treat. If you get stuck, PM me and I will do my best to help.

DVD disk is the same as ATM Machine, or PIN number.

It is quite normal for you to get a root menu - that's the baseline - you crawl up the directories from that.

Some brands and model numbers would be helpful, and have you read the manual?

Cool

Does your DVD player have the capability to play DVD RW's? Not all can.

For DVD's to be able to play on all DVD players, I believe they need to be "finalised". will your camera do this?
