Hi guys,
Can anyone recommend an excellent audio / video streaming software so I can capture stuff i see or hear from the net, onto my computer? I don't mind spending money to buy it (radical I know for Pilots ).
Cheers again

if you do a google and search for "capture streaming video" there are heaps to choose from including several free ones. it is then up to you to choose the one that best suits your needs.

Thanks born2fly,
I've done lots of that, but really wanted a recommendation, as there's a load of c*ap out there and I can't trawl through MB's of downloads to find a good one.
Any other ideas please?
Cheers

If you're talking about youtube then I've found the best combination is www.keepvid.com to turn the streaming video into a downloadable file works brilliantly. Then I use erightsoft's Super Converter to convert the video to a recordable format (flash[flv]->avi).
For windows media player I've used Windows Media Recorder (wmrecorder.com)

Depending on your computer hardware and drivers, you may already have a recording source called "Stereo Mix" or similar. If you select that as the recording source (in the recording app you use), it taps in to whatever other applications (including web browsers) are sending to the speakers. If not, you'll need one of those extra programs like "Streaming Audio Recorder" or "Total Recorder" as already described.
