Can you put rant xl onto a pda?

Bought rant xl and about to buy a pda and wondered if i could use rant xl on my pda. I'm a bit think when it comes to computers so was just wondering if this was at all possible, somebody in these forums must have tried it?

Was thinkin of getting the RANT xl as I'm starting IR soon, is it worth getting? is it useful?

No, But...

No is the simple answer to that. I think there are similar products for a PDA but it depends on if your getting a Windows or Palm based PDA?

Was going to buy a pda primarily to put a rant, or rant clone onto it, and secondaly for a gps for the car, so if anybody could direct me to a place where there are rant clones i'd appreciate it and would select my pda on the operating system which the program uses

I dont know what you can use, but if its made in Java then it will work on the PDA, and i am sure there are some PDA applications the same. I would buy a second hand or even new Tablet PC as they are great as moving maps, they can be used as a laptop by turning the screen, they are nice and bright, they have the same battery life, all Windows applications are useable. Plus you get a Laptop/PC out of it

unfortunatly thay are about 4 times the price of a pda. Found a bit of software that looks similar to rant so i might go with that, cheers
