Mysearchbar within IE windows

I keep having this wierd search bar appear at the bottom of any IE window I open.

If you right-click and go to properties then you'll see it's an online html file, how do I get rid of it as its not being classed as a pop-up, and as its not a physical file on the computer, it's not being picked up on virus scans etc.

This incidence of LOP is unlikely to be a standalone. You have a need to implement good PC security, and check for other spyware, malware and adware. Running Adaware and Spybot Search & Destroy would be a good start.

If one has done anupgrade to MS Messenger plus, then this will install by default, one must read the panel on the install window and select ' Reject and Install' .

Its a bit of a trap that one, it caught me a couple of times cos I didnt read the Panel.

Run the LOP removal tool listed below and it will be removed again.

This is one of the reasons I use Mozilla or Firefox, but the kids prefer IE for some silly reason.
