Not sure if I have spotted something untoward or whether I am making a prat of myself but a bunch of the 'topic links' on the main forum page have 'split in two' with one half directing you to http://www.ntsearch.com/iresults.php?qq=News.
Over to you techies (but I think its someone being naughty) !
It was happening to different ones yesterday

Tim, don't delete it - I think you've had a spyware attack. I don't see anything like what you report.
Googling does suggest that it's spyware - CoolWebSearch, possibly. Even searching for it was dangerous, one website I looked at made NAV light up, although I would hope that an IE hijack wouldn't translate to Opera anyways. I'll wait for Richard and Liam to come along, but for the meantime, have a look here.

TimS,
Download Hijack This! and post the log file here. Do NOT make any repairs. (Hijack This! pulls up everything, including programs that are supposed to be in your computer.)
Take Care,
Richard

Dohhhh !!
My first reaction was no can't be me - I've got more protection than a Catholic in Lagos (and run scans literally daily) ... but then I remembered I was using the office (working in a client airline client in deepest Africa doing some training etc) rather than my own equipment.
In fact only this morning I was warning their chairman that they were at high risk!!!!
Sorry guys - didn't have the brain in gear (highly stressed out here - everything is a pot of poo) but thanks for the usual quick and expert response.
Will see what I can do for them tomorrow.
