a cunning wireless plan
Thinking of going wireless and the idea is to use a wireless access point on ethernet from a Freesco router and wireless cards in various computers.
I'm a little worried about the set up required for the access point and I hope that I can set it up using windows xp which is resident on the freesco router, then swap over to freesco which runs off the floppy drive. I think after any setting up that the access point should be invisible to any operating system and just be like any router or hub on an ethernet.
Why not get a wireless router - mainly cost and the freesco router works really well (see www.freesco.org) and is well established on my system and family.
Any thoughts or observations on the plan gratefully received.

Thanks InTheAir, reassuring. and yes it does supplement the central heating during winter, but its been part of the system since before these new tiny plastic boxes became avaliable to the likes of me.
Thought Mac the Knife might have had a view being the other fressco router user.
