VCR Tape Recording
Here we go again- another similar query to my last one re Digital Video recording!
1)What cables/ sockets do I use to connect my existing VCR to the computer, to transfer 3hr VHS tapes onto the hard drive, so that I can then transfer them to DVD?
2)What software is required?
3)How much disk space does a VCR tape take, when transferred?
Thanks in advance!

Do you have tv-in on your graphics card?
As you already have DV capture, could you not record to the video camera first then capture it from the camera?
If none of the above you will probably need an analogue capture box.
The amount you can capture depends on the operating system, 98 has a 2gb file size limit, I think. Whereas xp if the drive is ntfs then there is no limit, I think.
