Unhappy partition magic - help!

Mayday mayday

I used partition magic 7 when i was tired last night and should have read the book first. Basically I had 2 primary partitions unhidden on one hard disc at once. Im running win98 and FAT32.

Nothing seems to be lost except what should be drive D has now moved to be drive I even behind cd rom (H). Drive D is "not accessible - a device attached to the system is not functioning".

The help with partition magic does not tell me how to retrieve the situation and no support is available from the powerquest as it is replaced by version 8 and they won't support that unless you buy it!

Please can someone help me?

Don't know if it will help (I've not used Partition Magic for a while, but it's great):

I have moved my CDROM drives to be X Y and Z. Can be done with any version of Windoze (it's easier with the non-NT/non-XP versions, but still possible with them).

That done, you should find your bootable drives move up the pecking order.
