It's as hard as they choose to make it. None of the islands are very interested in relatively(!) poor young people coming there to maybe find a fun job at the hotels/as pilots/anything else because they have enough of their own people with nothing to do but sell bananas. When they get a chunk of money from the UK for airport expansion for instance they open up a bit for five minutes, then the barriers come down again.

All about right place, right time, right conections to make the paperwork happen or not. Merely meeting all the requirements sometimes (usually) weighs less than knowing locals who can vouch for you.

Come on down and visit the BVI. I prefer it over the U.S. Virgins as its a bit more laid back. As to working and living there, if you aint one of dem, yous gonna have problems.....
Chances of work are slim as of right now.

Thanks for the insight anyways. That's basically what I was looking for, to see whether British citizenship meant anything in regards to a British Territory.

As for visiting, believe me, I'd love to...I'm tired of -30C in Northern Canada!

Unfortunately I am 'relatively' poor!
