Yes, kinda, sorta. Reduction of the annual TFSA max from $10,000 to $5,500 for the 2016 taxation year. Also, lowering the max income tax bracket to folks making more than $90,000 may contribute to a brain/wallet drain i.e. an exodus from Canada.
What will Bombardier do? "Keep the trains, sell the planes"? Or vice versa? Those are good to very good jobs, and Canada needs that technical sector of the economy.

but they'll make sure that ytz never sees jets
Don't count on it. Politicians always do the opposite of what they promise once they're in office!

Why is it that Canadians always complain about supporting Canadian companies, but don't say 'boo' about putting $10 billion into a foreign company like GM?

Bombardier is too big to let it fail and the consequences of letting it fail would be a disaster to the Canadian economy.
Don't get me wrong I think Bombardier's management made a lot of mistakes when it comes to the C series and perhaps the governments should have a say on who get appointed to run the company but, let us not forget that one of the major problems with the C series that delayed the program was the engine failure.
Now that the aircraft's test program is nearly completed and if we believe in the company's numbers performance wise, which they claim are better, this aircraft could/should be a winner.

There has to be consequences to bail outs. There has to be accountability.
When GM was bailed out, the CEO was forced to resign and the majority of GM's board members were also booted out.
Bombardier is essentially controlled by one super-rich family, and we keep bailing them out without any consequences. Why is that? The family has tight relationship with Quebec politicians -- an unhealthy relationship if you ask me.
There has to be a point when someone says "enough is enough" and force Bombardier to put in an independent board and restructure their voting rights as a condition of additional moneys.

Bombardier is a Quebec based company. No government in Canada will ever, under any circumstances, allow a Quebec based company to go bankrupt.
Just look at the title of this thread.

For those singing technical the virtues of the C Series, these days it has nothing to do with which is the best aircraft, its all about which is the cheapest and which company gives the best deal, the bean counters rule the roost, not flight operations, welcome to our "New World".

My friends, we beat fear with hope. We beat cynicism with hard work. We beat negative, divisive politics with a positive vision that brings Canadians together. Most of all, we defeated the idea that Canadians should be satisfied with less, that good enough is good enough and that better just isn’t possible. Well, my friends, this is Canada, and in Canada better is always possible.
Thank you. Thank you very much.
Merci. Merci. Merci.

For a crew that says it is committed to open consultation and sound science, this is not a good way to begin.
...the studies, estimated to cost $4 million, are under way specifically at the request of city council, and are being paid for PortsToronto, not taxpayers. The work should be done in early 2016.
Most troubling, the Liberal decision puts a shadow over the island airport. Just minutes from the city’s financial hub, it offers business travellers and thousands of downtown residents a convenient alternative to making the trek out to Pearson. A new tunnel makes it even more useful, allowing passengers to skip a ferry ride. Because of Porter’s success, the airport has become a prime asset for the city
