There has to be consequences to bail outs. There has to be accountability.
When GM was bailed out, the CEO was forced to resign and the majority of GM's board members were also booted out.
Bombardier is essentially controlled by one super-rich family, and we keep bailing them out without any consequences. Why is that? The family has tight relationship with Quebec politicians -- an unhealthy relationship if you ask me.
There has to be a point when someone says "enough is enough" and force Bombardier to put in an independent board and restructure their voting rights as a condition of additional moneys.
