A Canadian "Walt"
Not sure if this is the right place to post this, if not, Mods feel free to move it. It turns out the" decorated Sergent" interviewed on the CBC by our war memorial on Rememberence Day was in fact an imposter by the name of Mr Gervais, from Cantley Quebec, so now in Canada we have our own Walter Mitty to go along with the rest of the world, even his wife didnt know what he was up to, what a total jerk!

These sad types of people are over here too.
Someone at a remembrance day parade was photographed.
When someone else noticed that the medals he was wearing were impossible, due to dates, campaigns etc. He was a total sham.
Do these types wish they had done service, or do they just want to soak up the respect given to proper Vets

It's far more common than people realize...
Similar individuals have been picked up around hospitals wearing full ER gear...
And all those 'pilots' in white shirts and gold braid propping up the bars in airport hotels...
