Buffalo DC3
Looks like Buffalo Airways DC3 lost an engine on T/O, not a good time to have this happen on a "Three",no injuries or deaths, seems like the crew got it right even though the aircraft is a write of. For those who have not flown any aircraft "pre first/second segment " certification requirments, this is not an unusual result of engine failure just after lift of on some of the older aircraft, in fact most piston twins still in production wont climb under the same conditions.

'Damn good pilot' praised for DC-3 belly landing in Yellowknife - North - CBC News
Had a similar experience in 1994 in a Servivensa DC-3 in Venezuela. Right engine went bang right after takeoff at around 1,000'AGL. Lots of smoke but no visible flames, pilot make a (very) quick circuit and landed fine. Luckily plane had a light fuel load and under 10 pax.
Emergency landing briefing certainly had my full attention though.
