Hey guys,
Im new here and as the name goes im one "CONFUSED" soul
!!!
I was wondering if anyone could help me out with a few reputed and trustworthy flight schools in Canada?
I have been going through the other threads, have come across a few names and have got in touch with the schools and all seems hunky dory!
Moncton Flight College
Phoenix Aviation Academy, Quebec
Brampton Flight Centre
Confederation College
Any advice will be appreciated.

When my Dad and step-Mom moved to Canada, before moving down to America, I did a few hours flying from Burlington Airpark.
It was a friendly airfield and the rates were not bad... Plus, it was only about 15 minutes down the road, as we were living in Milton.
It will be 4 years ago in November when I last flew from there, as it was about a week after getting my PPL issued.

Phoenix is run by the same guy who had other flight schools in the province of Ontario that were shut down. More info as to why here: Phoenix Aviation Academy
All other 3 schools you mentioned are well established and reputable.
(Note - Confed caters more to the "bush" side of things - you'll come out of there with a float rating, but not a multi-IFR. Not saying you can't easily add a MIFR somewhere else after, like at Cornwall Aviation, but just as an FYI.)

Guys, does anyone have any information on "Ottawa Aviation Services"? I got in touch with them and they seem legit. Cannot take anything for granted tho, trying to find a decent flying school in these skys is like swimming with the sharks with a nose bleed!!!
OAS offers an "Integrated Airline Transport Pilot License (iATPL)"!!!
As I said, it all seems legit but I would appreciate any advice or information on the same!!!
Thanks.

canada flying
Hello all,
I need around 50 hours of flying time on a c-152 and some on the seneca pa-34
,brampton, harvsair to name a few.I've sent each of these schools a mail regarding flight costs etc but however would like to hear any first hand accounts from students, instructors or anybody else who knows little to do with a good flying school in canada. Since i know nothing about the country, I'd like to know what city ( flight school location wise ) would be most convenient place to live in for a short stay of around 2 months.I plan to have some friends over.
regards,
cbs
