Dispatchers License

I do not think they ever existed. Back in the 60ties and 7ties Nordair required their dispatchers hold a FAA dispatchers license.I think they were the only airline in Canada who had this requirement.

Dispatchers Lic

There is a Transport Canada Dispatchers Lic . You have to write a series of exams covering much of the weather flight planning material from the ATPL. There are several courses offered. Once written you must re write at the employer I think and again for each subsequent employer( I was recently told this and stand to be corrected.)
All 705 / Airline operations require lic dispatchers.
