Private Pilot Recurrency??

Hi there,

Could someone tell me the rules/regs to maintaining my canadian private pilots license. Unfortunately due to family events and working off shore I was unable to find time over the last 11 months to fly. Considering how much the license cost me I am curious what kind of steps I will have to take to get back into the air, if any. Thank you.

Sincerely,
Avgas1964

Most of the answer you're looking for can be found here:

Part IV - Personnel Licensing and Training - Subpart 1 - Flight Crew Permits, Licences and Ratings - Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) - Regulations - Aviation Safety - Air Transportation - Transport Canada

Medical current.

Also be aware of club rules for currency, which are somewhat driven by insurance requirements.
