Question Licence conversion

Hello all,

Does anyone know what sort of hoops I'll have to jump through in order to convert my UK PPL to a Canadian one?

Red face

Maybe a little more information is required here -
I am a Canadian citizen resident in the UK. In a few months I'll be returning to Canada to do my CPL, and was wondering how complex the conversion procedure was.
I realise this is a professional pilots forum, but thought it was more appropriate than 'Wannabees' as it is a specifically Canadian question.

Hope I didn't offfend anyone...

cheers

Check out Transport Canada's web site:
http://www.tc.gc.ca/aviation/

Converting your license is not a difficult process. If you return to a major city where there is a Transport Canada office, go visit them with your logbook, licence, medical, etc and they will assist you right there. No appointments needed. Of course, they will tell you what else you need to convert your UK PPL to Canadian PPL.
