Unhappy Looking for work

Wondering if anyone can let me Know what the employment situation is like in Canada at present. I have 1000hrs total and 200 multi, with an Australian CPL and ATPL subjects. Is there much demand and how hard would it be to convert my Lic?
Any replies appreciated.

Try phoning Transport Canada, sorry don't have there number to hand.
I know that converting a Canadian license to an Australian one is easy and cheap cause the're virtually the same thing so I can't imagine it would any different the other way a round.
Alternatively try e-mailing the Victoria Flying Club; website www.flyvfc.com they might know. As for jobs try avcanada.com which is a FREE jobs board.
Let me know how you get on.
