Just noticed something,
Whenever peanutpusher posts it is listed as sydney,when wan2fly posts it is lhr or uk.Other posts come from other ports as well.!!

Does this mean that peanut pusher is really in Sydney and not LHR as is assumed,someone in the office perhaps.

yes Peanut P........ could be a company stooge, He has only a vague idea about our EBA as can be seen from his posts, and he was under the impression that the LHR base in the 80's was set up like the current one ! big mistake in posting that one!
Also PP I'm waiting for you to apologise for calling me a liar! you were 100% wrong about the FAAA supporting the base.

QF LONGHAUL PERTH - Leave Process - Question?
 

Does anyone know what the process of trying to obtain leave is? (Specifically Perth Longhaul) If you speak to base team leader and get rejected for either annual leave of leave without pay, can you ask someone else or appeal to someone else to have another look??

The person I am inquiring on behalf of is, yes, and I had advised them to ring the FAAA. I am a member of a much more useless union. AIPA. :}

RAng a friend of mine in QCC she told me that the Captain that was involved in the NRT bashing is still employed by QF.
Called someone else to verify it and sure enough, he has been grounded but still employed!
What in the hell is going on?

Keep it going, so the general public who venture into this site get a true picture of the attitude of QF crew.

Perhaps you can all go on strike and then get locked out forever. Then we can all laugh at you as LHR base and BKK base and NZ base and a large majority of your Australian colleagues back the boss and keep the airline flying.

That, as an anti-unionist, would be a most blissful outcome. When's the next EBA, I can't wait!

QF paid a fortune to the Hewitt group only to have reported that they [Hewitt] had NEVER, in their 20 year history seen the kind of results seen at Qantas.

70% + of operational staff "disengaged" with the present management and yet we still get voted worlds no.2 airline by Skytrax.

The general public are well aware of the corporate greed that now obsesses what was ONCE a proud and RESPECTED company.

They [like you] would be well served having a look at QF threads on the D&G forum for more [of what you call] extremist views.

Qantas is being gutted from within in order to benefit the few at the top and as staff, we dont like it or those doing it.

It is after all us that will be left to deal with the ramifications once the trough feeders have bailed.

It's a sad individual indeed that champions ill will on others, especially from a collegue in the same industry and facing similar pressures . In doing so you say much about your makeup and mental health.
