THE END OF AN ERA IS HERE. ON JULY 1ST, ALL TWA FLIGHT ATTENDANTS WILL BE LAYED OF BY AMERICAN AIRLINES. AFTER OVER 35 YEARS OF SERVICE THEY WILL RECIEVE NOT A SINGLE CENT IN SEVERENCE PAY COUTESY OF THEIR FELLOW AA FLIGHT ATTENDANTS. RECENTLY A TWA FLIGHT ATTENDANT COMMITED SUICIDE BECAUSE SHE WAS SO UPSET WITH THE TEAMENT SHE RECEIVED. LET YOUR FRIENDS KNOW OF THIS TREATMENT OF AVIATION PROFESSIONALS

There is a story in today's local fishwrap about a lawsuit on behalf of 1,500 TWA pilots suimg AA to be reinstated, and that AA should be laying off it's own pilots.

I know an ex TWA flight attendant, she has been flying for 32 years! She also told me that all ex TWA flight attendants will be laid off by AA. I think it's a big shame!

Thumbs down

It's true: Of the 22,000 TWA employees working when AA bought TWA, only 4000 will be left by September. As of today, there are 2001 new-hire AA pilots and F/As STILL WORKING, while TWA workers with many more years of service/experience get furloughed.

But not for long...
