Cabin Crew emergency training - how much?
I'm currently collecting data on the amount and complexity of emergency training cabin (and cockpit) crews receive.
In particular, it's the quantity and contents of practical recurrent training those crew receive.
I'd greatly appreciate any information posted here or a short mail to [email protected] including above data and the airline you are working for. Also it would be interesting to know if the training groups are mixed cabin/cockpit or seperate for either group.
Thank you.

Um...you know, on second thought.....you could be right there.
Ok, I'm a Pilot for Lufthansa presently operating the A320 family. I'm also an active member of the german ALPA (VC), and this is where the circle closes. We are currently trying to compare the standard of emergency training given to cabin and cockpit crew during the recurrent training to get an idea of the industry's average level.
Maybe this helps to encourage some answers.
Cheers

Hi RadarContact...
While not precisely what you are searching for, here are links to the cabin crew training standards here in Canada. The documents list the minimum required training covering emergency procedures, equipment and drills:
Annual Part Four - Emergency Procedures
Annual Part Five - Emergency Equipment
Annual Part Seven - Drills
Flight Attendant Training Standard (TP12296)
Air Carrier Advisory Circular 0117 - Crew Resource Management Training

Thanks, I'll try some of that!
On rereading my initial post, I found that the request sounded a little bit too specific. So I'll try to rephrase:
What I'm looking for are not the details of all the lessons as in a minute...
I'd like to get a general overwiev of what's been covered and in what amount of time. So the ideal response would be something like
[Airline]
[type]
[duration of training in days/hours]
[Simulator used y/n]
[real smoke drill y/n]
[slide evacuation drill how much/long]
[mixed cabin/cockpit training? (does cockpit crew have to initiate and supervise an evacuation?)]
[fire drill in Simulator?]
Something to this extent...
