Mile High on Sky One
Did you see Mile High on Sky One last night? It was hilarious!
Not short of any of the stereotypes we have in this profession. We had
1, A straight steward who sleeps with his passengers
2, A gay steward who tries to sleep with the straight stewards
3, A female f/a who is in love with no.4
4, A womanising but ultimately gorgeous FO
5, A wagon dragon purser from hell!
6, Some inter-airline rivalry!!!
I wouldn't mind a job with FreshAir, if all they do is one sector out to ALC then get off for a 24 hour night-stop!!!

They wern't very nice to poor old Marco! It was just such a tacky programme. What did y'all think of those bright blue uniforms? urgh!

Would you like to imagine this is how the industry portrays itself to the public. Though in reality its only a half truth!
Strange lack of interest/comment on pprune or is watching Sky too upmarket?

I think the lack of interest on here stems from the fact that the programme was just so unbelievable that its not really worth talking about. Whatever about the OTT antics of the crews, the gaping holes in the plot were just stupid......How come two of the crew had to work home while the other two stayed for the wedding?? and how did the "husband to be" get there? and wasnt that the widest 737 cabin u have ever seen???

You only have to watch the ITV Reality Show with Easyjet to see boreing and self obsessed/opinionated people.
Who cares about minor details, it was only entertainment.
Have a few G or V & T's before you watch it next time

...and the FO sitting naked in the flight deck...yeah, some strange things on there which were not quite right...
still it was a good laugh and i like the comment from ex corrie person Naomi Ryan " i'm not a nuts and bolts type of girl!"
the characters were fairly true to life though!

Taba, I wouldn't be surprised if the programme researchers had some pretty good contacts in the industry. Most of the plot lines have happened in B.A in the last few years, including semi naked pilots in the cockpit.....
