Well aliciab, that would be illegal in most jurisdictions, and while you might find company training programs that suggest keeping the weight off for personal and professional reasons, to threaten a job would be a human rights violation.

Yep, in my part of the world, female flight attendants are required to stay within the green BMI band, if they aren't, they are given a written warning and 12 months to achieve it, if they still haven't, then they get 3 months unpaid leave, after that they will be terminated if they haven't achieved it.
Pilots also have to have a BMI of 30 otherwise they might have to undergo all sorts of additional annual medical tests.
