BA Strikes - The facts

Can someone enlighten me please and tell me why BA cabin crew are striking. I'm from a different sector of the aviation industry and even with that connection I'm struggling to find out what the real issues are. Everybody I speak to (not exclusively BA cabin crew) is totally against any strike action - I'm only getting one side of the story. So here's your opportunity to set the record straight. Please educate me - I have an open mind!
