First Choice Airways or Thomas Cook?

Hi guys, just after a bit of advice. I've been offered jobs with both First Choice & Thomas Cook at Gatwick for summer 2008 & am now deciding which one to take. Would really appreciate any comments from people who have flown for one or both ailines as to their pros & cons. One thing I'm thinking is that with TCX, you get some longhaul trips to Canada (a country I love!!!) in your first season whereas with FCA it's most likely all short haul when you first join. But on the other hand, I was really impressed with FCA at the interview & they do seem to fly to more longhaul places from Gatwick so maybe that would be better in the long run (as I would love to fly long haul) I know things will be changing as they are both going through mergers this year, but just wanted some advice from any experienced crew in the meantime.
Cheers & happy flying.

TCX are a lovely company to work for - or at least they were when I was there! They treat their staff fairly and, I believe, are the best-paid of the charter airlines. Good luck anyway with whatever you decide to do!

TCX - every time!!!

Hi Marty

Go for Thomas Cook - having worked for both I can say with certainty that TCX is the better Company. As SillyMoo says, they treat people fairly and with respect.

FCA may have better longhaul (although it is debatable), but in my experience the crew at TCX were sooooooooooo much friendlier! (sorry FCA crew - no offence meant, just what I found).

Good luck!
