Thomson Fly...

Hello to everybody,

Fist af all I do apoligize if I dint use the search function to find out similar threads but I'm a bit in a rush this moring.

then I've received an invitaion to an open day in Gatwick for Thomson Fly, I've seen some Thomas Cook Travel shops around London this year but I haven't heard so much about the airline

could someno give me some advise about the recruitment process and maybe more about the ailrine?

if there's someone who's going to be interviewed on Dec 16th in LGW may be in touch with me...

sorry for any mistake, I haven't got time to check it out today
thanks
C

I know you were rushed but your post does not make much sense. Firstly are you going for Cabin Crew or Air Crew for Thomsonfly or Thomas Cook????? Thomsonfy and Thomas cook are 2 completely seperate brands and have 2 seperate airlines.

Thomsonfly normally hold open days for Assessments and these are posted on thier website, as far as I know they do not accept on line applications.

Thomas Cook airlines are recruiting and that maybe what you are talking about if you applyed on line. In your post it sayes that you are going for Thomsonfly but you are going on about Thomas cook travel shops which have nothing to do with them.

Do some research on the airline if you actually know which one you are going for and I would of thought you would have looked into it before applying, if not take some time out to look it up yourself.

Hi, Sorry I did not mean to sound abrupt in the the last reply but try not to call them thomsonfly in the interview as it probably will not go down to well.

Have a look at the aircraft fleet

http://www.thomascookjobs.co.uk/USER...e/airlines.htm

Also the destinations www.flythomascook.com

Also the overall company www.thomascook.com

I would concentrate on destinations and fleet for company background. Thomascook airlines used to be JMC and beofore that British Caledonian and Flying Colours which merged to JMC - I might be wrong with that - but dont think it will be that important for the interview.

I went for an interview with them when they were JMC, it sounds like it was different back then. There was a group excercise and introduction and then you found out in writing if you have been invited back for the next stage. I think that they now do everything on the same day (Like most airlines)

Another good site, especially for people going for the same interview is www.cabincrew.com - go to chat forum and then airline specific forum and then thomas cook - people should hopefully post about the day and questions and procedure once they have been and this will give you a better idea of the day. I know that some people have TCX interviews coming up this weekend so you will have plenty of time to get a good idea of it.

All the Best.

Not the first time that you've posted this, starting a new thread instead of continuing an existing one, and apparently too busy to do your own research, but content to let others do it for you. This time you actually managed to get the name of your potential employer wrong. Maybe you should slow up a bit and see if things improve...

Next time, do what everybody else does - read, absorb and then ask relevant questions on the right thread.
