Eastern Airways (UK)
Hello. I'm sending off my application to Eastern Airways tomorrow and was wondering if anyone either works for them or knows anyone who works for them and could give me any information regarding rosters, working conditions and pay. Many thanks.

I don't work for them but know the airline's sales manager (who also deals with recruitment) fairly well. I used to work with him at another company.
Whenever I talk to him about the airline he speaks with great enthusiasm. It's a dynamic, fast growing company looking to expand to far more European destinations. Aberdeen is the airline's main hub (but not HQ) and Eastern has more aircraft movements here than any other carrier. Aberdeen is also going to be seeing a few new routes in the near future - two of which (IIRC) will be to the mainland of Europe.
The flying, I'm told, is good fun. You're home every night (there's only one overnight trip on the network) and I understand the money to be OK.
To be honest, if I could fit in a J41, I'd apply to them.
