Ronan Keating was on my flight once.. LHR-DXB, I believe.
I'm going to be completely alone on this one:
Lots of THEY MIGHT BE GIANTS lyrics rattle around my head when I'm in the cabin. Especially these repeating lines from "Fingertips":
I don't understand you (I don't understand you)
I just don't understand you (I don't understand you)
I don't understand the things you say
I can't understand a single word
(when somebody has a lot to say but no common language to say it in)
I walk along darkened corridors
And I walk along darkened corridors
I walk along darkened corridors
And I walk along darkened corridors
(when the cabin is dark, obviously)
And these lines from "Wearing a Raincoat":
Demanding constant attention
Will only lead to attention
And once they have your attention
They use it to ask for attention
And once they have that attention
They use it to ask for attention...
And from their new album, how about "Careful What You Pack?"
It's a new year
Careful what you pack
There's no going back...

On a Longhaul with a Birmingham crew....
"There once was a steward from Brum
who liked to shove things up his 8um.
His boyfriend from Luton
could get 2 bits of fruit in
and the neck of a bottle of Rum"
